Win the win, the Hawks would advance to the semi-final game on Friday against Lincoln Land. The Hawks would use more timely hitting and solid pitching to defeat the Loggers 8-4. Freshman starter,
Jason Buhl, threw five and two thirds innings for the Hawks to also earn his ninth win of the season. Buhl would not walk a single batter as he allowed just four runs on seven hits and struck out seven.
