The Heartland Men's Golf Team took the drive to Plymouth, Indiana, where the Hawks participated in the 2026 National Tournament. This outing consisted of a total of 115 golfers across 24 teams, all providing fierce competition through the week. Each golfer competed Tuesday through Friday for four rounds of play to determine who would walk away with the National Title.
Two of Heartland's golfers lead the charge, shooting four over and finishing 6th overall. Sophomores
Gabriele Bravin and
Jack Wenzel showed their experience with solid rounds through the four days to place themselves within the top ten. Finishing 31st and ending the tournament 11 over were
Luca Bianchi and
Tommy Gneiser. Trailing just two shots under was freshman
Joey Trupiano, finding one eagle on the weekend in his last back 9 of the season.
The Hawks conclude their strong season with an even stronger finish, taking the title of National Runner-Up and making this the best finish by the Men's Golf Team in the program's history.
