Over the past few days, the Heartland Golf team stayed in Normal, Illinois, to compete in the NJCAA Region 24 Championship at the Weibring Golf Club.
    In the first round, the Hawks delivered their strongest performance, shooting a collective seven under par.
Jack Wenzel and
Luca Bianchi led both the team and the tournament with rounds of three under par. Over the following rounds,
Gabriele Bravin emerged as the top Hawk, finishing second overall with a score of three over after three rounds. Below are the individual and team scores from the tournament:

    With the win, the Heartland team takes the next few weeks to prepare for May 19th, when they will head to Plymouth, Indiana, to compete in the 2026 NJCAA DII National Championship.
