No. 6 Heartland def. No. 16 Madison College, 3-1 (19-25, 28-26, 25-23, 25-16)
In their first match last Friday, Heartland started of dropping the first set 19-25, but did not look back after that. They won the next three sets by grinding out a tight 28-26 win in set two, aa 25-23 win in set three and a dominant 25-16 win in set four behind a .476 hitting percentage. Outside hitters

Addison Pacha led the way with 10 and 12 kills each while having 12 and 18 digs on the defensive side. Libero
Ava Bercot was great on the defensive end with 18 digs to her name. Middle block
Lexie Robokoff-Mullen led the way at the net with six block assists while the Hawks totaled 18 as a team.
No. 6 Heartland def. Southeastern CC, 3-0 (25-15, 25-14, 25-22)
Heartland beat Southeastern easily in three sets behind 13 kills to lead the Hawks on offense. She hit at an efficient .300 clip. Setter
Reece Elaine Harrison had a big day setting up her attackers with 28 assists. As a team, the Hawks totaled 43 digs, 23 total blocks and 25 kills. In the second set, Heartland hit .400 at the net.
Heartland Volleyball plays again this Wednesday against Spoon River College at 6:00 p.m. in the FRC.
