Heartland Community College Softball took a trip down south on March 21
st for their first game day since their spring trip to Florida earlier this month. The nice weather led the Hawks to face the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers in Godfrey, Illinois.
Game One was a strong outing at the plate and on the mound for Heartland. First basemen,
Shelby Oakley, put on a performance going three-for-three with two doubles, three runs, and an RBI. Sophomore
Kendall Lowery added two hits and two RBIs for the offense, one coming in the first inning with a line drive to score
