On Thursday, September 25th, the Hawks traveled down the road to Maxwell Park for the Heartland Invitational. The race included six teams and over 100 runners for the day. The competition was fierce and fast, but the Hawks held their own as the men placed 1st overall with five runners finishing in the top 10. The women's team was just as competitive, placing in the top 25 spots out of 53 runners. Below are the individual placements:
