    Once again, the Women's Soccer Teams were solo hosts at the Corn Crib for an offense-heavy match as the Hawks defeated the Blue Angels 7-0. With scoring coming from across the board, the Hawks displayed tremendous teamwork as they used one another to progress down the field. The team tallied 34 total shots with 22 on goal. Maria Tomas sat in goal for the Hawks and contributed to the shutout with three saves to end the match.

    The Hawks displayed dominance and gained momentum with an early three-goal lead before the 20th minute. Anouk Van Maarle woke up the offense in the 10th minute with an assist from Anjelica Amezquita. Paula Igual passed things off to Karima Marhabi for her third goal of the season. Region 24 Athlete of the Week, Valeria Agudelo, added two more goals to her total of 11 on the week in the first and second half to give the Hawks a 4-0 lead going into the 60th minute. Finishing the game off was sophomore captain Igual, who found the back of the net at the 61st minute and assisted freshman Valeria Maldinado in her 5th goal of the season. Kelsey Lucas sealed the deal with the final goal and assist number 10 for Marhabi.

    The women improve their record and stay seeded at #4 heading into the week. The Hawks take a couple of days before returning home on the 25th of September, as the women host Lincoln Land Community College, and are followed by the men competing against St. Clair Community College.
