    On September 11th, the Hawks hosted the Hawks of Northeast Community College in a 90-minute match-up at the Corn Crib. With hard pressure from the defense throughout the game and a strong offense, the Hawks were able to walk away with a 6-0 victory.

    The offense started things off from the very beginning in the 9th minute as Captain Carla Vizuete took a shot from 20 yards out, barely making it over the goalie to start 1-0. Vizuete not only started but also finished the scoring with another goal assisted by Kelsey Lucas in the 87th minute. The sophomore collected two assists throughout the match as she set up Valeria Maldonado and Valeria Agudelo with a goal each. Agudelo ended the match with another goal, scoring two minutes apart. Rounding out the offense for the day was Anouck Van Maarle, who scored in the first half thanks to another assist by Marhabi. Keepers Alice Arrigucci and Maria Tomas had two saves apiece and kept Northeast at bay for the 90-minute match.

    The Hawks take the day off before returning to the Corn Crib on September 13th, to face the John Wood Blazers.
