Women's Soccer Faces Lewis and Clark to Open Play at the Corn Crib

Box Score
The Hawks were set and anxious to start play at the Corn Crib for their home opener against the Lewis and Clark Trailblazers. After a tight match in their 2024 campaign, both teams were prepared to compete for the win.

After a whole first half of scoreless play, the Hawks and Trailblazers shifted gears in the second half with even more intense and competitive play. The back-and-forth endeavor left players fighting with everything they had to advance up the pitch. The difference came in the 55th minute as #5 Madelynn Kuhn of the Trailblazers found the back of the net.

Rounding out the match was solid defense from both teams, and the game ended 0-1 at the 90th minute. The Hawks have time to recoup as they return for the Midwest South NJCAA Showcase in St. Louis, Missouri the 5th of September.
