The Heartland Golf Team are NJCAA Region 24 Champions


    In the NJCAA Region 24 Tournament the Heartland Hawks earn their ticket to the National Tournament by placing first in the contest held in Springfield, Illinois at Panther Creek Community College. The team shot six strokes better than the next best. Surpassing the #4 and #5 seeds were also in the cards for the Hawks with their outings.

    Tommy Gneiser led the Hawks and the tournament as he placed first place overall through three rounds. The freshman from Darien, Illinois was the only participant in the NJCAA Region 24 Tournament to shoot under par. Right behind Gneiser was another Hawk, freshman Gabriele Bravin shot one over through his three rounds. Sitting at eighth overall is Normal, Illinois native Luke Brady shooting fourteen over. The last Hawks to break the top ten was freshman Jack Wenzel with 231 strokes. Below is the continued list of finishes for the Hawks as well as team placement.

    The final tournament of the 2025 season is May 20th through the 23rd as the Heartland Hawks go on the road to Plymouth, Indiana to attend the NJCAA National Finals at the Swan Lake Resort.
