With a score of +8 and a ninth overall finish out of 48 total golfers at the NJCAA Region-24 Meet at Weibring Golf Course in Normal on Monday and Tuesday, Heartland's Sam Rink has qualified for the NJCAA DII National Meet. Rink scored a 72 in the third and final round to move him into the top-10. The Bloomington native led the Hawks to a fourth-place finish out of 10 teams.
