    This week, Heartland Volleyball were on the road for two days for three matches where the Hawks were unstoppable. Going undefeated on the week, the team never let their foot off the gas as they did not drop a single set. Going 3-0 help their record progress to 21-2 on the season with a tough October schedule soon to start.

Hawks vs. Spoon River
    Their first contest held on Wednesday, September 24
th against Spoon River Community College in Canton, IL was a quick three sets. The Hawks jumped on the Snappers quick winning 25-16, 25-14, and 25-9. The offense and defense were working cohesively by collected 42 kills and 60 digs during the match. Setter
Brooklyn Brennan gave the offense their best chance of attack as she accumulated
36 of the 38 assists. Halle Moomaw was unstoppable with 11 kills and 3 blocks at the net. Graci Junis was a consistent force all over the court as she added
12 digs, 10 kills, and 2Â aces. Rounding out the defense was sophomore Libero,
Sam Molenhouse, contributing 17 digs to the win.

Hawks vs. Southwestern Iowa Community College
    Heartland Community dominated from start to finish, sweeping Southwestern Community in three straight sets (25-20, 25-11, 25-13). The Hawks tallied
44 kills, led by
Graci Junis with 10, while
Addison Pacha added 8 and
Moomaw chipped in 7.
Brennan fueled the offense with 30 assists, while also contributing at the service line with an ace.
Kayleigh Keim led from the line with 3 aces, and
Molenhouse added 2. On defense,
Junis posted a double-double with 10 digs to go with her kills, while Molenhouse added 9 digs and
Annabelle Fortin collected 6. At the net,
Moomaw stood tall with 2 blocks, helping Heartland close out the match in convincing fashion.
Hawks vs. Rend Lake College
    Later in the day, Heartland carried that momentum into a decisive sweep of Rend Lake (25-17, 25-13, 25-16).
Junis once again led with 14 kills and 11 digs, while
Pacha (10 kills) and
Lexie Robokoff (9 kills, 1 block, 2 aces) provided strong support at the net.
Brennan dished out a season-best 41 assists, and
Molenhouse added 6 aces and 15 digs to anchor both ends of the floor. As a team, the Hawks hit an impressive .330 in the match, showcasing their efficiency and depth to close out the weekend unbeaten.

    Heartland Volleyball returns home for a rematch against the Danville Area Community College Jaguars. The game is scheduled for Wednesday, October 1, at 6:00 PM.
