The Heartland golf team begin its spring campaign this past weekend, as the Hawks traveled to Peoria to play in the Illinois Central College Cougar Spring Preview at Weaver Ridge Golf Club on Saturday and Sunday. The Hawks placed seventh out of 17 total teams at the meet at +69 overall.
 
Tyler Young paced the Hawks in 22^nd place out of 98 total golfers at +14. Sam Rink followed closely behind in 25^th place also at +14. Below are the remaining results for the Hawks at the ICC Cougar Spring Preview.
