Following a second-place finish at the NJCAA DII Regionals, the Heartland golf team placed ninth in the NJCAA DII Nationals at Swan Lake Resort in Plymouth, Ind. this week. The event, which began Tuesday and concluded on Friday, featured 22 teams from across the country. The Hawks conclude their season with three first-place finishes, three second-place finishes and two third-place finishes between the fall and spring seasons.

Chase Laack paced the Hawks in sixth place overall with a total score of 289, which was good for one over par.
Mason Minkel followed just behind Laack in ninth place (291) at six over par. Minkel tied the Swan Lake Resort course record with a score of 63 on day one of the tournament.

Lewis Slade (312) finished in a tie for 66
th place at 24 over par, and was followed by
Tomas Frencia (317) in a tie for 86
th place.
Reece Tennison (326) rounded-out the scoring for the Hawks in a tie for 103
rd place at 38 over. The tournament featured 130 total golfers. Further results can be found
