The Hawks golf team won the Region 24 Tournament yesterday for the first time in program history. With the win, the team has qualified for the NJCAA DII National Tournament in Joplin, MO.
After one day and 36 holes of golf, the Hawks sat in first place by 14 strokes. Sitting just behind the Hawks in second place was 2021 National Champions, Parkland College.
After day two and the final 18 holes, the Hawks would take home first place, edging out Parkland by 14 strokes. Full team results are below.

The Hawks were paced by sophomore
Brevin Knight. Knight sat alone atop the leader board after the first day of play. He would stay there through all 54 holes and would be joined by freshman standout,
Mason Minkel. Knight and Minkel would tie for first, both finishing three over. Four of the Hawks five golfers would finish in the top ten of over fourty golfers. Full individual results are below.

The Hawks will now prepare for the National Tournament which will take place in Joplin, MO at Twin Hills Country Club from May 17th through May 20th.
