The Hawks golf team kicked off their 2022 season yesterday as they competed in The Den Challenge. Twelve teams, including fellow MWAC competitors Illinois Central College and Danville, competed in the tournament.
The Hawks edged out second place ICC by three strokes to bring home first with a team score of +29. Full team results are below.

Individually, three Hawks took home top ten finishes out of 67 total golfers. Sophomore
Brevin Knight won the tournament shooting two over. Freshman
Mason Minkel tied for second shooting four over. Sophomore, and Quincy University commit,
David Hutson also finished in the top ten, tying for fifth while shooting six over. Full individual results are below.

The Hawks are back in action this weekend as they compete in the IWU Invitational. The two day tournament will take place on Friday and Saturday at Ironwood Golf Course.
