Baseball and Softball Return to Action

The Hawks baseball and softball teams are back in action this week with a full slate of games. 

Baseball will kick off the action as they travel to Lake Land Community College tomorrow (3/15). First pitch is set for 2 PM. Baseball will follow-up Tuesday's game with a 9-inning match-up against Southeastern Iowa Community College on Wednesday (3/16). The Hawks will host the Blackhawks, bringing a record of 11-6, at the Corn Crib with first pitch set for 2 PM. Wednesday's game can be streamed HERE

Baseball will continue play this weekend as they kick-off conference play with a series against Danville. The series will serve as the first Midwest Athletic Conference (MWAC) match-up for both teams. The first double-header of the series will be at the Corn Crib on Saturday (3/19) at 1 and 3 PM. Saturday's games can be streamed HERE. The Hawks will travel to Rantoul for the second half of the series on Sunday (3/20) with games set for 1 and 3 PM. The Jaguars of Danville finished fourth in the MWAC last year, one spot behind the Hawks, and have a record of 3-6 so far this season. 

Softball is back on the diamond this week as they travel to Kankakee Community College on Wednesday (3/16) for a double-header. The games are set for 3 and 5 PM. Kankakee enters the match-up with a record of 6-3 while the Hawks sit at 3-3. A live stream of Wednesday's games can be found HERE
