Jonathan has been coaching youth through collegiate ages for over 20 years. He started as a technical club trainer, has been the Director of Coaching at Midwest Reign, men’s assistant at IL Wesleyan University, and previously coached Heartland’s men’s team for three years. During his three seasons, his record improved from 6-10, to 8-9, and then 10-4-1, which earned him the MWAC Coach of the Year in 2017. Jonathan enjoys helping his players progress to be the best versions of themselves.
His playing experience included club, four-year high school starter, and for the PA Olympic Development Program West Regional Team. He then received a soccer scholarship to play at Mercyhurst University where they finished third in the country his freshman year and made the NCAA playoffs three of his four seasons.
Jonathan is married to Katie, and they have three boys (Franco 8, Theo 6, and Archie 3). He works in State Farm’s IT department as an engineering manager.
