Women’s Soccer Draws Against Rock Valley

Heartland Women's Soccer continued its season against Rock Valley on Sunday after a dominant home opening win last Thursday.

The Hawks match versus Rock Valley was highlighted by an exciting first half, with both teams potting two goals. CAM Jasmin Geronimo followed up last game's hat trick with another goal, two shots on goal, and seven shots in total. Forward Ava LaFollette played her first game and had two SOG and two shots and four shots in total. Left wing Josy Rogel added another goal to her total. As a team, the Hawks totaled 15 shots compared to Rock Valley's 11. Goalkeeper Claramalia Pederson finished the day with four saves on six SOG. The chances were there for the Hawks, with five of their eight SOG coming in the second half, but Rock Valley came up with some timely saves.

Heartland will look to put two games in the win column against Kellogg CC and No. 1 Delta College in Battle Creek, MI on Friday and Saturday.
