Libby Detweiler with seven blocks, and Moomaw followed right behind with six. The service line showed some dominance as

To round out the Heartland Quad, the Hawks and the Redtails were set to compete as Heartland had its hopes to remain undefeated against Hawkeye, and they did just that. Junis and Pacha racked up the kills with 12 apiece. Brennan showed out with the sophomore setter, accumulating 22 assists, eight digs, two aces, and a block.
As Heartland takes the weekend to recoup, they look ahead to their first conference matchup against #5-ranked Parkland College, who is making the drive to Normal, IL, to compete in the Nest on Wednesday, September 3rd.
