"They've been present through each chapter of the season, and completely focused on the process of becoming great as both individuals and a team. They've bought into the coaching staff's vision, they've challenged us with the talent and skills they each possess and most importantly given us a gift of truly enjoying the personalities of each player on a daily basis."
Following the end of season, Volleyball MWAC Awards have been released and are as follows:
MWAC Player of the Year:
Mairen Mannon
MWAC All-Conference:
Rhiannon Robertson
MWAC All-Conference:
Sam Molenhouse
As the women gear up for the post-season, their tough competition throughout the season has prepared them for what's to come. "Looking to the post-season, the plan won't be any different," says Fraham. "We hope to take the experiences that we've had as a preparation to face the tough competition we know we're going to see. As long as they continue to lead with our values, I will continue to feel pride every time I step on the court with this team."
The women will start post-season play with the Region 24/16 Central District B Tournament on the 8
th of November at Illinois Central College. They will face East Central College at 2 o'clock followed by the Championship match if they win the first match-up.
