Heartland volleyball extended its winning streak to seven games on Wednesday, as the Hawks cruised to a three-set victory at Midwest Athletic Conference foe Lewis & Clark Community College in Godfrey, Ill. The Hawks improved their conference record to 4-0, and now sit at 17-2 overall on the season.
 
After opening the contest with a 25-18 win in set one, the Hawks ultimately took set two 25-13, and set three 25-15. Julianne Kielion finished with 19 assists and nine digs, with Emma Harper adding eight kills and 16 digs. Gracie Sanderson supplied 10 kills and six digs. Kennedy Conrad had 13 digs.
 
The Hawks return home for a MWAC showdown against NJCAA DII No. 15-ranked Lincoln Land at 6 pm on Wednesday before traveling to Champaign Sept. 29-30 for the Parkland College Tournament. Heartland will face-off with three ranked opponents at Parkland, including Owens Community College, Vincennes University and Madison College.
