Heartland volleyball improved to 21-5 on the season after posting three wins this past week. The Hawks defeated Lewis and Clark Community College at home Wednesday before beating Frontier Community College and Rend Lake College Saturday.

The Hawks came out ready to play Wednesday against Lewis and Clark, as Heartland cruised to a 3-0 victory.
Samantha Hovey finished the contest with 26 assists, with
Kennedy Conrad added 13 digs.
Olivia Pippin supplied 7 kills.

Frontier Community College was the site for Heartland's remaining two games of the week on Saturday, with the Hawks sweeping the hosts 3-0 in their opening match.
Emma Harper paced the Hawks with 10 kills. Hovey contributed 27 assists and 5 digs, while
Kaitlyn Conway added 12 digs.

Heartland completed the perfect week with another sweep in Saturday's second game, this time against Rend Lake College. Conrad tossed in 15 digs in the contest, while Hovey had 33 assists.
Aaliyah Denius finished with 11 kills for the Hawks.

The Hawks will travel to Lincoln Trail College Saturday for a round robin against the hosts and Southeastern Illinois College.
