The Heartland Hawks Men's Soccer Team opened their season on the road with a 3-1 victory over Carl Sandburg College to move to 1-0 on the season. The Hawks were lead by goals from Owen Punselie (19'), Bowen Wyminga (68') and Matheus Giron (81'). Giron also added an assist to his stat line. 

HCC will host their home opener on Saturday versus South Suburban Community College.
