America Huerta is a sophomore center back from Lardo, TX. Before coming to Heartland, Huerta went to J.W. Nixon High School. While at J.W. Nixon, America competed in soccer and swimming. While competing on these teams, America earned the following honors:
- First Team All District (2017-2020)
- All District Midfielder of the Year (2020)
- All-Tournament Border Olympics (2020)

While at Heartland, America will be majoring in Biology.
