Sara Perkins is a sophomore utility player from Spring Valley, IL. Before coming to Heartland, Perkins attended Hall High School. While at Hall High School, Sara competed on the softball and dance team. While competing on these teams, Sara earned the following honors:
-First Team All-Conference (Sr.)
-Third Team All-State (Sr.)

During her first year at Heartland, Sarah earned Academic All-American.

While at Heartland, Perkins plans to major in Secondary Education.
