Coach Elexis Swartzentruber will be beginning her second year as assistant coach at HCC. Swartzentruber recently graduated from Lewis University where she was a three-year starter as catcher and had a career batting average of .264, 18 homeruns and 67 RBIs for the Flyers. Before playing for the Flyers, she attended Heartland Community College where she had a career hitting average of .452, 24 home runs, and 123 RBIs. Swartzentruber helped lead her Hawks to back-to-back Conference Championships, her second year as a captain. 

While attending Lewis University, Swartzentruber graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal justice and a minor in coaching. Her collegiate career softball accolades include: three time D2 ADA Academic Achievement award, five time Academic all-conference, D2 Second team All-Conference, two time MWAC First Team, and two time Region 24 All American.
