Leslie Gutierrez is a sophomore forward and midfielder from El Paso, Texas. Before coming to Heartland, Gutierrez attended El Dorado High School. While attending El Dorado, Gutierrez participated in soccer and cross country. Gutierrez earned the following awards in high school: 
- All-District Honorable Mention (Jr.)
- First Team All-District (Sr.)
- Academic All-State by TASCO

Last year, Leslie was made the All-MWAC Team.

While at Heartland, Gutierrez plans to major in Criminal Justice.
